Berzin Abram (Yuda)
Abram (Yuda) Berzin.
Born in Rezekne in 1901 . He was married to Feige Teitelbaum from Ludza.
In 1936 their son was born – Samuel (Salya).
Abram had three brothers Meyer, Gershon-Pinchus and Hirsch-Jacob and four sisters Itka-Mindel (Minna), Hasya (1.01.1900-1986), Pesa-Haja (31.10.1902 – 9.08. 1933) and Dusja (Diska). In Rezekne, before the war, Abram Berzin had a leather goods shop. Since the beginning of the war, the family evacuated and lived in the Gorky, and then in the Omsk region. During the war he was mobilized and served in the construction battalion. From 1945 he lived with family in Riga, from 1972 – in Israel, and from 1981 – in South Africa. He died on August 13, 1996 and was buried in Johannesburg.
