Levin Leyzer, Levin Feiga
Leyzer (1909-1976) and Feiga Levin (mothers surname Shaykind, 1909-1985).
Leyzer Levin lived his whole life in Rezekne and got buried in local Jewish cemetery. During Soviet times he was head of the butcher shop on June street 17. (Nowadays , house 67 on Latgales street) and many elderly locals still remember that shop as Levin’s shop. During time of the WW2 Leyzer’s family was evacuated to Ural.
Leyzer and Feiga had three daughters : Lyuba (died during world war two), Riva (1938) and Braha (1945-1999).
