Shtykan Miriam (Marussia)

Miriam (Marussia) Shtykan (12.25.1903 – 05.26.1989)

There were two more brothers in the family of Miryam: Abram and Ilya. She was married to Israel Kan Kagan, in 1932 their son Isai was born.
For many years she worked as a russian language and literature teacher and was engaged in the search for materials and writers and poets – people who was born in Rezekne.
